If your dog is lying on their back, this means they may either be overheating and trying to cool off, so be sure to offer them some water.
When a dog's paws are crossed while they rest, this means they don't want to be approached. On the opposite spectrum, if their hind legs are sticking up in the air, they are feeling secure with their surroundings and allowing their submissive and vulnerable side to surface.
